Birding by Kayak
Over 400 species of birds have been recorded here in the Point Reyes area, making it one of the bird watching havens in the country. Fall and winter are great times to bird watch from a kayak in Tomales Bay. The mild weather conditions bring in thousands of birds. Paddling over eelgrass beds with our naturalist guides, you will see and learn about migrating birds, marine animals and other species which live below and above the water's surface. This tour is for those who love to watch and ID birds as well as those with a curiosity for what makes Tomales Bay such a unique ecosystem.
Cost: $88.
Time: 9-1.
Fall 2007 Dates: October 21, November 3, November 18, December 1 |
